Our latest resin ship is one of the most talked about additions to this project, so we decided to share a little bit more about it in both of its versions.
That's right, in case you missed it, our latest stretch goal unlocked an additional card for the Corbeta, allowing you to employ it's lighter, slightly older, cousin the Barque Longue.

Introducing the Barque Longue: An alternate Corbeta rig
As the name implies, the Barque Longue was originally of French derivation, and evolved from small coastal craft like the Biscayan double shallop. Nonetheless, the term became widely adopted for a small fast ship with a single flush deck, usually with two masts and capable of operating under oar or sail. They are often depicted with topsails on both fore and mainmasts, although some appear to have used the large “buss” sail on the mainmast as an alternative. They were usually slightly smaller than corvettes and of lesser draft, making them faster under oars and more useful inshore.
These early miniature frigates became popular corsair vessels in Europe and eventually made their way into the New World, where they were highly prized by buccaneer crews.

What does EU Friendly mean?
All shipping to customers in the EU will come from within the EU. This means reduced shipping costs (compared to shipping from the US) and most importantly, no import fees, and reduced VAT (all miniatures, except the ship, will be produced in the EU).

Sir Henry Morgan is now a free mini for Crew tiers and above! This alternate sculpt for Morgan is made to represent Morgan in his prime, as Admiral of the Brethren of the Coast. The previous model represents a younger Morgan before rising through the ranks. A character option in the new book!
