Yes!
These miniatures are updated models that have been sculpted to have much more detail than its previous iterations. Your current Blood & Plunder models, no matter what material, will still be valid to use in games.

Is the project EU friendly?
Yes! We have successfully coordinated an effort to get these models made in the EU with the same level of quality we offer here at our warehouse. The project is EU friendly and will have all orders from the EU shipped within the EU. This will result in greatly reduced shipping costs for customers.
VAT’s and other fee’s may still apply depending on your location. You will have to check with your local post office for more information.

Where are these models being made and how?
These models are all 3D sculpted from our amazing artists in house. We then produce said models from our own warehouse in the United States with an extremely high quality, durable resin that is easy to paint over. The models are not brittle and have an extreme amount of details on them.
We do not use generative AI at all in any of our process from the design to the creation of the model.

Will I receive a PDF with any of the books?
The Rise of the Buccaneers will include a PDF with a physical hardcopy purchase.
Our revised edition rulebook will not as it is a discounted price here on the Kickstarter. You can purchase the PDF of the revised edition on our website right now.

When can I expect to receive the Rise of the Buccaneers PDF?
While we don’t have an accurate date yet, you should be receiving the PDF when the book is ready which should be about two months once the project is complete.
This means that we will be sending them out before we start shipping.

When will I be able to choose the army box(es) for my pledge?
You will be able to customize your pledge once the project has ended via the pledge manager. From there, you will be able to raise or lower your tier, select the various options available for your pledge such as what army box to select, and be able to add or remove add-ons.
If you pledge in the $1, you will be able to upgrade your pledge later on in the pledge manager.

Why should I back now rather than waiting when the models hit stores?
We are selling these brand new sculpts with a discounted price compared to when they hit retailers. You will also be receiving various pledge goals and rewards for free! As well, you will be receiving them much earlier than if you were to wait.

Will this project be affected by tariffs?
The large majority of this project is being made in the US. We do not expect to face any issues and in the event that we do, we are properly budgeted to face said issues during production.
For backers in the EU, this project will be EU friendly. We will be sending out pledges inside the EU as well.
For those outside of the US & EU, we will have accurate shipping quotes available once we are close to releasing the project.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
